Richard and Erin met on Halloween 2014. He was dressed as a solar panel, which she thought was actually the Tardis from Doctor Who. The rest is history.

In the almost eight years that they’ve been together, Richard and Erin:

• Lived in two different states, three different cities and five different apartments.

• Learned each other’s favorite, well, pretty much everything (although Erin will, to her dying breath, think Richard’s favorite food is chicken parm when it is in fact, not).

• Put 50,000 miles on Richard’s Subaru Legacy, including 3,000 miles from a cross country road trip where they stopped at more Diners, Drive Ins and Dives locations than they’re proud of.

• Bought more books than their bookshelves can hold, reading the best bits out loud to one another.

• Seen countless dazzling images on a huge silver screen with sound that they can feel, where stories feel perfect and powerful because there, they are (shout out to AMC).

• Spent 70,000 hours together, and still made the decision that they wanted more.
